The Persol 009 model was originally designed by Persol to meet a request from NASA in the early 1960s. The unique feature of these sunglasses are the extra side shield lenses to provide extra eye protection.

69218 Persol Ratti - White with Mirrored Lenses - Very Rare

Rare, Vintage Persol Ratti 69218 style worn by Don Johnson in Miami Vice back in the 80's and lots of other stars. These are New and the Rarest of the 69218 style. White with Mirrored Lenses that have a special backside AR coating. They have the original Persol markings on both lenses in the upper corners. If you look real closely you can also see the 69218 stamped inside the right temple by the hinge and you can also see the original special locking nut on the hinge bolt.
